MUJI 455 Broadway
Japanese retailer MUJl wanted to open their first store in the United States. They chose a 10,000 sq. ft. space marketed by Cast Iron Real Estate Co. on lower Broadway that was well-trafficked with 50 ft. of store frontage on the block. MUJl's opening changed the character of the block and Crate & Barrel spin-off CB2 moved next door shortly after.
